Barbie Ferreira has claimed that she once starred in a scrapped Beyoncé music video that will “never come out’.

On Friday (May 1) the Faces of Death star appeared on Owen Thiele’s In Your Dreams podcast, where she claimed she filmed the music video for the ‘RENAISSANCE‘ track ‘Thique’ three and a half years ago.

“It’ll never come out. I finally have accepted it,” she said. “It was the ‘Thique’ music video, and it was so cool, and I have accepted [that] no one will ever see it, but I do tell people I was in Beyoncé music video.”

She then said that people thought she was “lying for a bit”. According to Ferreira, visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen directed the video, which she said also featured Shygirl, Carmen Electra, Megan Thee Stallion, and more.

“It was like thick bitches,” she said of the cast.

“She invited me to her birthday party after the music video,” Ferreira recalled. “I met her, and I was like, I will say I got really drunk so I could say happy birthday to her because it was so intimate that I had to say happy birthday to Beyoncé.”

“It was a roller rink. It was like the guest list was popping. I walked in, I go, ‘Oh, everyone’s letting loose,'” she said. “Shout out to Beyoncé for recognising that I was in a music video that will never come out,” she said.

Elsewhere, Ferreira recently opened up about her exit from Euphoria, admitting it “wasn’t worth it” amid her “diminishing” role.

The star played the role of Kat Hernandez in the first two seasons of the HBO drama, though exited ahead of the recently-premiered third run. She clarified last year that her departure decision was “very mutual” and denied reports that she walked off set.

Ferreira shed light about her decision to leave in an interview with Deadline, explaining that she wanted to showcase “different roles”, with the star now releasing new indie films Faces Of Death and Mile End Kicks.

“If Euphoria was going to serve that for me, I would have happily done it forever, however long it would have been,” she said. “But it wasn’t really letting me show my range. In fact, it was kind of diminishing as time went on, and it was like, what makes me happy is acting and growing my career.”

The song originally featured on Fender’s third and latest studio album ‘People Watching’, but later took on new life during his huge London Stadium gig last year, when he brought Dean out in front of the 80,000-strong crowd and performed a collaborative rendition.

The two of them would then join forces twice more at shows to share the duet – both held at Fender’s huge homecoming shows at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park, and last June, they officially released the track.

Since then, it’s become a fan-favourite, winning the BRIT Award for Song Of The Year, and scoring Fender his first ever Number One single. The track broke the record for the most consecutive weeks spent in the Top 40 before reaching the top, and has now spent nine non-consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

To celebrate, Fender and his saxophonist, Johnny “Blue Hat” Davis, surprised fans at Dean’s headline show at The O2 on Friday (May 1) to perform together for the first time this year.

It comes during Dean’s ongoing UK and Europe headline tour, which opened in Glasgow last month. NME caught the first show and gave it a four-star review, which read: “As the energy soars to the end of the show, Dean forgoes the tired theatrics of an encore and goes straight into the electric ‘Man I Need’.

He also won Alternative/Rock Act at this year’s BRITs – meaning he has five trophies to his name, as well as the 2025 Mercury Prize for ‘People Watching’.

Barry Manilow has postponed his upcoming Las Vegas shows amid his lung cancer recovery.

In December, the musician shared that he would be having surgery to remove a “cancerous spot” found on his lung. At the time, Manilow said that he had been suffering from bronchitis for several weeks, and the cancer was caught out of “pure luck” on a precautionary MRI scan. He confirmed the cancer had been caught early enough for him not to need chemotherapy or radiation.

Then, in January, he issued a positive update, saying he was feeling “better” after the surgery, but later cancelled his planned Valentine’s weekend concerts.

In February, the musician then postponed his planned 2026 farewell arena tour after a “very depressing visit” to his surgeon, telling fans that despite using the treadmill three times a day, he still couldn’t sing more than three songs in a row before having to stop.

Now, he’s postponed his planned May Las Vegas residency shows as he continues his recovery.

In an Instagram Story posted yesterday (May 2), Manilow told fans he had “good news”, adding: “I went to the doctor yesterday and he said I’m making great progress and look great! All the training and exercising I’ve put in is paying off.

“He did say, however, that I’m not quite ready for Vegas. This means I won’t be able to return for our May shows at Westgate Las Vegas.”

He went on to say that he still expects to return to the Westgate stage in July, and said he will be ready for his June arena shows in the UK. “The Westgate Las Vegas is my home away from home and I’ll see you all in July,” he said.

He’ll be playing shows in the UK in June, kicking off in Glasgow on June 9 before heading to Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff and Birmingham. He’ll then wrap up the tour with a gig at London’s O2 Arena on June 17. You can find any remaining tickets here.

The Colombian-born singer held the history-making set on Saturday (May 2) with a public concert dubbed ‘Todo Mundo No Rio’, which has become a major calendar event attracting millions of tourists to Copacabana beach. Previous performers of the free concerts have included Lady Gaga and Madonna.

Coming as part of the ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran‘ world tour, named after her 2024 album, Shakira’s set kicked off around 11 pm, over an hour after the scheduled slot. Fans burst into frantic applause as skywriting drones flew above, spelling out in the sky: “I love you Brazil,” in Portuguese.

Speaking to the massive crowd last night, Shakira took a moment to thank fans and reflect on her first time being in the country. “I arrived here when I was 18 years old, dreaming about singing for you,” she told the crowd shortly after coming on stage. “And now look at this. Life is magical.”

Rio Mayor Eduardo Cavaliere later said on X/Twitter that 2 million people attended the performance. “The She-Wolf made history in Rio,” he posted, referring to Shakira’s 2009 hit, which was played alongside a series of fan favourites including ‘Hips Don’t Lie’, ‘La Tortura’ and ‘La Bicicleta’.

She also took the time to celebrate women’s resilience during the show, telling the crowd: “Us women, every time we fall we get up a little wiser,” she said.

In the lead-up to the show, organisers confirmed a local crew member assisting with the stage setup for the concert in Brazil had died.

“I am deeply saddened  for the family, friends and colleagues of Gabriel de Jesus Firmino, a local worker who lost his life yesterday at the site,” said Shakira in a statement. “My heart goes out to his family, and loved ones.”

Shakira recent announced that she will be expanding last year’s international ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ tour, performing in select arenas across the US this summer following the free show on Copacabana Beach.

The previous dates saw the ‘Whenever, Wherever’ star have to postpone a show in Medellín due to stage safety concerns last year, and was also forced to reschedule a show in Lima, Peru on after being hospitalised. Following that, the singer went viral after falling on stage mid-performance, and then cancelled her WorldPride performance as well as a show in Houston, Texas.

Olivia Rodrigo debuted a new track, ‘Begged’, during her stint as musical guest and host of Saturday Night Live. Check it out below.

Rodrigo appeared on the show last night (May 2), where she briefly joked about her Disney Channel beginnings on Bizaardvark and her former co-star Jake Paul, as well as giving a musical parody of ‘drivers license’.

For her first musical performance of the night, she played her latest single ‘drop dead’, with Debbie Harry of Blondie introducing her to the stage.

Then, Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie introduced her second song, which turned out to be ‘begged’, an unreleased track from her upcoming third studio album ‘You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love’, which comes out on June 12 via Geffen.

She’d previously debuted the track – which features Weyes Blood on backing vocals – during an intimate, phone-free show in LA, while she had described it as “karaokable if you’re sad.”

Rodrigo performed the song seated on a swing, nodding to the cover art for the upcoming album. Check out both songs below.

Rodrigo’s new album is the follow-up to 2023’s ‘Guts’ and is expected to be both “experimental” and full of “sad love songs”.

Recently, Rodrigo shared more insight into what to expect from her new album, saying it is centred around the feelings of “jealousy” and “longing” that arose from her first “big girl relationship”. So far, she has only dropped one track, the lead single ‘Drop Dead’.

She broke the song out live during Addison Rae’s set at Coachella and later performed it at a surprise appearance at a New York City open mic event.

Since then, she’s sparked rumours of a collaboration with Geese frontman Cameron Winter after they were seen together at a restaurant.

Rodrigo has also cited The Cure, New Order, Joy Division, The White Stripes and Bikini Kill as sources of inspiration for the new music, and announced a massive 2026 and 2027 tour, which includes four nights at The O2 in London.

Ice Spice is the star of Wendy’s new commercial, following her viral McDonald’s fight video.

Last month, TMZ released CCTV footage of the Bronx rapper getting into an angry confrontation with a member of the public while she was sitting in a branch of McDonald’s in Los Angeles. The clip was later shared widely online.

The incident went down last month (April 15), and the video shows Ice Spice sitting at a booth with her friend when they are approached by a woman, who attempts to sit with them and begins talking to them.

Before long, the woman reaches out to hit Ice Spice and a scuffle ensues. As members of the public try to intervene, Ice Spice clambers over neighbouring booths and follows the woman outside.

After the incident, Ice Spice – who famously used to work at competing fast food chain Wendy’s – made light of the situation, sharing an edited version of the video on her X account and writing: “This wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s”.

Now, she’s turned the viral moment into a commercial opportunity, starring in Wendy’s new ad promoting the company’s sizzling chicken sandwich, which was shared on Friday (May 1).

“I heard Wendy’s upgraded their OG spicy chicken sandwich,” she says in the clip. “New spicy?!” Later in the clip, she drops her Ice Spice moniker to become ‘Ice Spicy’, wearing a new chain to match the alias.

She also gets a new tattoo, while her single ‘Thootie’ plays in the background. “New upgraded spicy chicken, only at Wendy’s,” she continues to close the clip. “Spice recognize spice.” Watch it below.

Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen issued a statement following the McDonald’s incident, saying: “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly.”

“We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security,” Cohen added.

Elsewhere, Cardi B threatened to beat up Ice Spice in a leaked phone call that surfaced last October. “I’ma show y’all!… I’ma beat her the fuck up! I’ma knock her the fuck out! […] I’ma beat her ass,” the ‘WAP’ rapper said in the clip.

Fans attending screenings of Billie Eilish’s new concert film are dancing in cinemas after she urged them sing, scream and not sit still.

The film, titled Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D), is directed by James Cameron as well as the ‘Bad Guy’ singer, and is set to hit cinemas on May 8.

When announcing it last year, she told fans the tour in support of her acclaimed album, ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft‘, was one of her favourite ever, and that being able to capture it alongside the Avatar filmmaker was a “dream come true”.

Speaking to Capital at the London premiere of the film, Eilish outlined her ideal cinema etiquette, urging fans to soak in the immersive elements and act as though it were a concert. “I want singing along, I want screaming, I want standing up, I want running around,” she said. “I’m sorry to the theatres.”

She explained that she was excited to see her fans react like that because she’s seen them do it after screening albums in theatres. “My favourite part of that was, I would see these videos, they would all go to the front – you know, in movie theatres they have that front area? And they would just mosh and like jump around and run around.”

The singer was reportedly entering into advanced talks to take on the lead role in the project. She previously acted in 2023 TV series Swarm, co-created by Donald Glover.

“I used to say that I hated acting,” Eilish once said in a Saturday Night Live monologue. “But the truth is, when I was little I loved it! My mom and dad were both actors. So is my brother, Finneas. And it was my dream to be in a movie.”

In the black-and-white clip filmed back in October, she’s seen in a Paris studio with A.G. Cook and Finn Keane – also her collaborators on 2024’s ‘Brat‘, working on a new song called ‘Rock Music’.

“It would be cool if we could have a song that was called ‘Rock Music’,” she says, before workshopping potential sounds. The video then shows an iPhone notes page where Charli is mapping out lyrics for the track. It reads: “Me and my friends/ We go out/ We take pictures together/ We sometimes cry/ We kiss each other incestous vibes.”

In the caption, Charli writes: “a video of me making a song called “rock music” that is not actually rock music which is funny because i never said i was making a rock album. love you xx”

It comes after her team confirmed that she was finishing work on her new album last month, while Charli herself implied the next release would be going in a rock direction. In an interview with Vogue, she declared: “I think the dance floor is dead, so now we’re making rock music”.

As well as working on that soundtrack, the ‘360’ singer also penned music for the A24 film Mother Mary starring Anne Hathaway, starred in her own mockumentary The Moment, taken on a role in new romance ​​Erupcja, and locked in a role in fantasy 100 Nights Of Hero.

She also played a comedic version of herself in the TV show Overcompensating, and was recently cast alongside Supergirl star Milly Alcock in a new horror film directed by Takasi Miike.

Post Malone has postponed the start of his 2026 ‘Big Ass Stadium Tour 2’ and cancelled several upcoming dates outright – check out all the details below.

The ‘Sunflower’ artist took to social media Friday night (May 1), and announced that he was scrapping the first few weeks of stadium outings with Jelly Roll, saying that he wanted to get his forthcoming album finished before beginning the trek.

Per Variety, the cancellation affects the first six scheduled dates on the joint tour, equating to roughly a third of the North American dates altogether. It was set to kick off on May 13 at El Paso’s Sun Bowl Stadium, with the other axed dates meant to have hit stadiums in Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford, Mississippi.

Not including the three festival dates that Malone plans to fulfil in the interim, the tour alongside Jelly Roll will now kick off three and a half weeks later than planned in Charlotte, North Carolina, on June 9.

Despite reports of slower-than-expected ticket sales, Malone told fans that recording a new album was the reason the dates were axed. “Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach,” Malone wrote, “I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up.

It follows widespread reports that ticket sales had slowed for the second iteration of the tour, in contrast to last summer’s initial ‘Big Ass Stadium Tour’ by Malone and Jelly Roll, which sold out every date, making it one of the highest-grossing of last year, pulling in $198million (£147million).

As noted by Variety, the discrepancy between last year’s sales and this year’s was the subject of a Lefsetz Report newsletter that went out to music industry readers shortly before Malone made his announcement.

In April, reports emerged that Ebert, who parted ways with Turnstile in 2022, had been arrested for attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault, and it later transpired that Ebert was said to have run over vocalist Brendan Yates’ father, William, with his car.

Now, reports have emerged that the Montgomery County grand jury has upgraded the charges on Ebert to include attempted first-degree murder. Ebert was indicted on Thursday (April 30), where attempted first-degree murder was among the charges levied against him, per the Baltimore Banner.

As aforementioned, he was previously facing a second-degree murder charge, which could carry up to a 30-year sentence, but a first-degree charge could lead to a sentence of up to life.

Ebert has proclaimed his innocence, telling a district court commissioner that surveillance video would exonerate him. “This is pure self-defense,” Ebert has said. “They’re the attackers.”

He’s set to appear in court on May 8 for a scheduling conference.

In addition to attempted first-degree murder, Ebert is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault. He’s being held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail.

According to The Baltimore Banner, Ebert had allegedly driven up to the house, fired his horn and cursed at William before driving off. Yates then accused Ebert of returning to the house and intentionally hitting his father with his car. Ebert then allegedly returned once again to tell William he “deserved it” before first responders arrived.

Turnstile later stated that Ebert had caused “severe physical trauma” by running over William, who underwent surgery and was “hoping for the best possible outcome in his recovery”.

The band subtly addressed the incident during their recent Coachella set, which opened with a pre-recorded video message from William Yates. “I’m Bill Yates, I’m the proud father of Brendan — they’re all sons of mine,” he said.

“They’ve been practising in the house for 13 years. Just recently, they vacated the basement. Finally, after a dozen years. The larger the venue, the better. They just enjoy the energy. All the fans out there: we love you, and Turnstile loves you. Enjoy the ride!”

Though the video appeared to have been filmed before the incident, and while Turnstile did not address the news directly, its inclusion was received by many as intentional. The move to include it also drew praise from fans, with one writing: “Very heartfelt and smart way for them to address the elephant in the room before getting on with the show.”

Recently, The Baltimore Banner revealed that Ebert had told a district court commissioner that the alleged incident was “pure self-defence”, further claiming that he “was straight-up attacked”. He also reportedly told the commissioner that CCTV footage would contradict police accounts of the incident.

Since leaving Turnstile, Ebert founded a new band in 2025 called The S.E.T (or ‘The Self Evident Truth’).

However, Ebert was kicked out of The S.E.T in February after accusing Turnstile of misusing funds from a benefit gig. He also claimed Turnstile were “pandering to their audience” (per Vice) when the band posted a graphic reading “abolish ICE”.

“Brady is no longer a member of THE S.E.T,” the band wrote online, just days before the release of their debut EP. “We will not stand by his ridiculous comments and behaviour toward the members of our band and our community”.

Ebert’s other former band, Experience, have confirmed they will release their debut EP with Ebert’s contributions intact, calling his attempted murder case “serious and deeply upsetting”.

Elsewhere, Turnstile will soon play a UK-exclusive headline show at The Piece Hall in Halifax and open for Tyler, The Creator at London’s All Points East.
