Matt King – best known for playing Super Hans in Peep Show – has launched a DJ career, promising to bring “choonz & jokes” in character to “festivals, Ibiza, small pubs” this summer.
The actor and comedian is expected to appear as his drug-addled character that he portrayed in the Channel 4 sitcom from 2003 until last year.
As FACT reports, King confirmed the news via Twitter on Tuesday (March 22), writing: “So I’m gonna be DJing as Superhans this summer. Watch out for me at festivals, Ibiza, small pubs. Choonz & jokes innit. #superhans #djhans”.
He later added: “The longer the note, the more dread. Get ready for a 247 second long D. Coming this summer.”
King has said that he would be open to playing a DJ set at Glastonbury Festival and that more details about the DJ events will be posted online. “in the next 48 hours”.

Peep Show aired its ninth and final series last year. However, creators Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong haven’t ruled out bringing back the show in the future.
Bain previously told the Radio Times: “We don’t plan to kill them off so the opportunity to do more would be there if we chose to.”
